-A Letter from a Valued Customer-


"My husband and I decided to move into a gated independent living community in Stockton, CA. We contracted to rent a cottage which needed complete renovations. We wanted significant structural changes as well as new floors, cabinets, counters, both bathrooms remodeled etc. We signed the contracts and were given a move in date of the end of July 2018. As the deadline approached we began to wonder if the work was on schedule and if the cottage would be ready to have our furniture delivered. We drove to the site and found that not only was the project not on track, it was far behind. The company that was contracted for the remodel had been terminated and a new company was hired to complete a job that was horribly behind. For various reasons, I decided to spend time on site. It was then I met Travis Cross who was the Project Manager/Lead Carpenter responsible for the Construction/Renovation of our new home. A new deadline was put on the project and Travis began to do the work. Travis quickly assessed what needed to be done and went about setting up a project board that listed the major milestones and timelines for not only our cottage but for the other remodels in our community. Right away I was impressed by his “It doesn't matter what happened in the past, we just need to move forward” attitude.. His forward focus would be a tremendous asset in keeping the project on track. He found many errors in what had been done prior to his arrival, but his focus was on how to identify and fix the problem rather than looking for someone to blame. Travis was very thorough in his planning and execution. He had a crew dedicated to the cottage, but those resources were quickly redeployed, which left both the doing and the managing to Travis. He was hired to manage the construction and renovations and wound up doing most of the work himself. He was so committed to getting what we needed done completed that he worked far into the night. He built new walls, installed the crown moulding and base boards and the electrical as well so the project didn't fall behind. I appreciate that he was focused, dedicated and honest. Travis is a man of his word, if he said something would be done within a specific time frame, it would be done. I found him to be incredibly knowledgeable and driven. He was able to manage his way up through the organization well. He put out many fires and handled multiple challenges with a professional demeanor. Travis communicates well and I always knew exactly where the project was, I never had to contact his subs or superiors. Travis kept daily production logs and had daily meetings with not only his workers but the management of and kept everyone on the same page so the project would be finished on time. I would certainly hire Travis, based on the knowledge I have of his integrity, work ethics and knowledge of construction, project management and his ability to lead"
